Aeee bhai! Mujko bhi tho Lift Karado!!! It ain’t over till the fat man sings. And he ain’t done yet! Always Yours is Adnan Sami’s remix of his previous hit album Kabhi Tho Nazar Milao. So if this is a remix album, then there’s nothing new right? Wrong! As Adnan would say, “there are many ways to compose a song; the same song can be dressed up in many different ways”. As a matter of fact “Barsaat” originally had a reggae version to it. If someone else had to come out with a remix “album” – mind you, not a song, but an entire album – we’d throw him to the lions. But the damn thing is Adnan is so lovable and so genuine that if he remixed another album of this remix, we’d buy it!

This time around the tapori song has zoomed to the top of the tapori charts thanks to entertaining presence of the whole jing bang of Bollywood look alikes.

Line waha se shuru hoti hai jaha hum khade hote hai! Chup chaap khade raho The song is uplifting and an absolute must have for any tapori worth his namakh. If you can get past playing the track over and over again (till it begins to irritate you) you can move on to some more fundu remixes.

For those oh so lonely nights the romantic “Barsaat” has been given a smooth saxophone spin as well as a rocking dance floor mix. The Asha Bhonsle accompanied “Kabhi Tho Nazar Milao” has been stripped of its vocals and replaced with the smoothness of a flute. Other than this there is an instrumental version of the melancholy “Pyar Bina,” and “Bheega Mausam”.
